Don is the Founder and President of Soli Deo Gloria Ministries, Inc., whose primary function is the reprinting books by the English and American Puritans. Dr. Kistler also has an international speaking ministry. Don was ordained in 1990 in the PCA, then was a member of the OPC from 1997–2003. He was ordained in the RPCGA (Reformed Presbyterian Church General Assembly) in September of 2003. He holds the M.Div. degree from Luther Rice Seminary and the D.Min. degree from Whitefield Seminary in Lakeland, Florida. Dr. Kistler is visiting professor of church history at Whitefield Seminary in the area of Puritan theology and literature. He has spoken at conferences with John MacArthur, R.C. Sproul, Sinclair Ferguson, Michael Horton, Elisabeth Elliot, J.I. Packer, and Alistair Begg, to name just a few He is the author of: Why Read the Puritans Today? A Spectacle Unto God: The Life and Death of Christopher Love and a contributing author to: Onward Christian Soldiers: Protestants Affirm the Church Justification by Faith ALONE!
